Wine Tasting for a Cause!

It's October, which you may have heard by now, is the 25th anniversary of Breast Cancer Awareness month!

As we've been enjoying the past month, we've got another great wine tasting planned this Wednesday evening from 7-9pm, hosted by our friends from Johnson Bros. Distributing. This is a VERY special wine tasting though... one dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer!

The business of helping others is the most rewarding of all.
Sometimes people find causes, other times causes find people, and such is the case with the eight founders of ONEHOPE. These young professionals have turned what started as a personal mission to help out a friend with her fight against cancer into a thriving business which is founded on a very basic, but compelling principle: giving back is good business.

ONEHOPE isn't a charity, but a for-profit enterprise that donates 50% of profits to partner charities through the creation of cause specific varietals of wine. As the perfect pairing to fight breast cancer, it's no secret that Chardonnay is
the overwhelming favorite varietal among women. In fact, women prefer Chardonnay two to one over any other varietal. So, why not turn that love of Chardonnay into a powerful force for generating hope in the fight against breast cancer? One in eight women living in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer sometime during their life. There is a great deal of work to do and ONEHOPE Wine is committed to bring awareness and much needed fundraising on behalf of our partner charities in the fight against breast cancer.
